The Pitch!

Questions your pitch must answer and the answers to the Questions:

1.) How long will the piece be and/or what is the physical scope?

The Piece will be a few seconds long depending on the length of some of the answers to the interview. Of course the answers to the interview will be cropped to the areas of interest of what the piece needs.

2.) Final Delivery method (web page, prints, video)

The final delivery of this will be video along with it some prints of character layouts.

3.) Is it comedy, drama, action, a combination?

I'm hoping for more of a comical feel to it.

4.) What will it look like? (e.g. phot-real, exaggerated realism, toon rendered)

This will be exaggerated simple forms where it will still be in 3d but simple characters with simple colors, not too much with detailing.

5.)(proposed) Title?

Their Thoughts, Their World

Work in progress title

6.) What are the elements (e.g. characters, scenes, props)?

The characters will be simple animal characters. The scenes will be simple not too much so it does not take away from the character.

7.) Content? Story, scenario(s), etc?

The story will be basically different simple animals trying to answer one question, with different thoughts and answers to it. The voices for these animals will be from young to old to get different ranges of vocals.

**Now all together**

Their Thoughts, Their World

This will be a short few seconds clips where I will interview a few people in the real world with a question that they will answer with their thoughts on the topic. The interviewers will range from young and old for difference between the audio. Mainly, this will be a slight comedy to where I'll match my interviewers with simple, exaggerated portion, 3D animal counter parts who will do the talking for them. The animal counter parts will be giving a simple back drops, so not to take away from the focal point, which is the animal and its answer. This will then be produced in video format to view and along with that some still shots of the character designs.

Sounds good but is there going to be multiple people in one clip or just a solo interview? I would think that two people would be a lot more interesting and give you more options for animation and interaction between the characters.

I'm with Brad - like with Creature Comforts if some of the clips/interviews were with two, the potential for interaction would make for some nice animation and variety.

That sounds good I'll vary with that. Some with solo interviews (which would probably be short scenes) and then others with two (which could be slightly longer. So kinda like with Creature Comforts where they have both.
