Thought to share the render version of my ferret in her new cage. She aslo has a new wheel.

Ferret Motion Finished!!!

Here's the motion of the ferret...This is the last playblast of her before she is rendered out :) She should be rendered no latter than this weekend :D so there will be (hopefully) a new video for you to see once I get that done...Also keep an eye open for the parrot who is starting to get rigged :D she will be animated shortly So more fun to come yay!!

March 4th mileston!!!!

Right now its coming to crunch time. Still working on the ferret but the milestone is basically less than a month away. I'm hoping to have finished the ferret completely and having the parrot at least started. Wish me luck with finishing up the two animals :D and thanks for watching.

Ferret says a sentence yay!

Ferret Begins to Speak!!

This is a short clip of the ferret saying the first two words of the interview with one of the people. She should be completed saying her full speach soon and then we'll move on to the body animation...Yay!!

Jingle Ball! Ferrets Toy!

Here are some examples of pictures of what the ball will look like in the ferrets cage:

The Ferrets ball is going to be split color, kinda like the one below. I'm thinking though instead of pink to do red.

For the holes of the jingle ball I really like the detailing of the blue jingle ball in the picture below. The holes are shaped as paw prints and that is what the jingle ball for the ferret will also have to give it more of a pet play toy and character to it :)

Ready for SHOW TIME!!!

The ferret is now completely rigged and ready to be animated she was placed in her environment. She will be animated shortly and some play blasts will be added to this blog. Also a picture will be added of her posing (me messing around with her new skeleton and abilities :D yay) To show how she bends.

Rigging completed :D!!!

IN the above picture the ferret is rigged and skin weights are fixed tha tit bends correctly. So the rigging is completed and a fast success thanks to "The Setup Machine"Woot!
Now the ferret will be getting eye color for her eyes and then imported into her scene where she'll be animated to the right sound file.

Here is a pic. of the ferret with its first rig :) has you can see the skin weights need some tweaking so that the ferret does not bend in the wrong places :D Should be done with in a few days and the animation for the ferret then will commence :D

Ferret face NOW movable !!!

The ferret now officially has all the facial movement that she'll need for the scene. Yay!!

Are those Whiskers on that ferret?!?

Yup there is now whiskers on the ferret, the picture above is an over the head shot of the head with the whiskers. Down below it shows how I was actually able to do it. It was very simple actually I just put one of my pictures that i had created of whiskers that has no background (is a gif file) and just placed it on a plane. Down below you can see the edges of the plane since I clicked on it and the lines are green.

Also notice that the ferret has been corrected so that it looks more like a ferret and not a cat XD

Update !!

The Cage has been updated with some colors now. The ground does have some light bump mapping to it as well. I still need to work on the flooring of the cage a bit and work on the ferret wheel in the background.
